Hi, my name is Tamara Cullen and I am the owner of The Roo Apron. I’m a wife, busy soccer mom to 4 girls, entrepreneur and garden enthusiast. I’m always looking for ways to simplify life, so when given the opportunity to help create a gardening apron that would save time and make gardening and harvesting easier and more efficient, the answer was a quick yes.

Our gardening apron is more than just a garment, it’s a tool to make working outside easier. The Roo is perfect for harvesting vegetables, pulling weeds or collecting anything that needs to be put away. Simply fill the pouch and empty it wherever you need!

The Roo is based in the Pacific Northwest, but has made a name for itself among gardening centers, magazines, blogs and avid gardeners the world over. We’re passionate about empowering people to get outside, grow their own food and contribute to the landscape wherever they are.

I absolutely love my Roo! After complaining to a friend that I had to wear my kitchen apron in the garden and that it didn’t function for all my needs, I received a package in the mail. To my surprise it was a purple Roo. I had no idea it existed. Now that I have one, I use it every day and think of my friend who gifted it to me. I love it so much that I have now given another as a gift. Thank you, Roo!!!

I knew right away that this tool had potential in the garden! I’ve been harvesting with it for 2 days now and it’s awesome! I can really load up a lot of produce in the front pouch and the side pouches are really convenient for keeping gloves, trowels, etc.
